About

Emma Parker

Emma is an award-winning wildlife photographer. Having travelled extensively since 1998 across Europe, South East Asia, Australia, South America and North America. From jungle trips in Borneo and Mexico, Galapagos and the Arctic. She has also travelled to remote parts of Australia, documenting lesser-photographed wildlife. Preferring to photograph alone, each trip requires extensive preparation and research.

Her photographic journey started in 2019, when she was gifted a camera, and that was the start of a new bug; to learn skills to capture her love of wildlife and travel - sharing what she sees with others.

The magic is capturing that moment when wildlife is completely relaxed and behaving naturally, a point at which she becomes invisible and their interest in the camera lens diminishes.

A great photo can form a bond between the viewer and nature, creating opportunities to ignite passion in people to protect it for themselves and future generations. Emma takes great care to take ethical photos, relying on patience and a love of hiking and adventure to get close to subjects in their natural habitat.
