Emma Parker

Emma uses photography to tell a story of the natural world, the thing that brings us the greatest joy and can transform us even when we feel at our worst. Emma focusses on capturing that moment where wildlife is completely relaxed and behaving in the most natural way, a point where she becomes invisible and their interest in the camera lens has diminished.

A lot of her photos have been taken in her own backyard, the wonderful landscape that is the Central Coast in Australia, it is a place where her heart feels at home and there is wildlife surrounding her.

A great photo can form a bond between the viewer and nature, creating opportunities to ignite passion in people to protect it for themselves and the next generation. Emma takes great care to take ethical photos, relying on patience and a love of hiking and adventure to get close to subjects in their natural habitat.
